Ever wonder what to do with stale pita bread or normal bread that’s gone a bit stale? In this episode of Health Nuts we caught up with Duncan Barnes (editor of Stoked and Broke) to learn how to make pita chips (a recipe that can also be applied to bread to make croutons). This also goes really well with our homemade hummus recipe !

Recipe:

For 6 pitas…

1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon of pepper..or pinch of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of salt
handful of herbs

400 degrees for 7 minutes or until golden brown.
