Nut Milk (dairy free)
Health Nuts
Making your own nut-based milk is one of the easiest ways to save money and create something superior to anything you’ll find in the store. With only a blender, cheese cloth or linen, honey and a few handfuls of nuts, you are a few minutes away from deliciousness that can be enjoyed with coffee, cereal, oatmeal, or by itself.
Nuts that work well:
Brown Skinned (Require Soaking)
Almonds, Hazelnuts, Brazil Nuts, Pecans
White Nuts and Seeds (No Soaking Required- Just Rinse & Blend)
Macadamia Nuts, Cashews (technically a legume), Pumpkin Seeds, Pine Nuts
Ingredients
3 Cups of Soaked Nuts
6 Cups of Filtered Water
3 Tablespoons of Honey or Agave
1 teaspoon Vanilla
A Pinch of Sea Salt and Cinnamon (not featured)
