I have a newly realized passion in shooting with my Polaroid SX-70. The new film from the Impossible Project is pretty good. After a few disappointing results with their early stuff and what was an inferior camera I had at the time, I’m a full blown believer. It’s not cheap, but it is beautiful. I pulled up expecting clean and offshore. The waves were choppy, the wind howling, and it started raining. A big gust of spray from a nearby whale could be seen just offshore… and a small unmoving hole in the thick clouds and fog right at sunset, made for really trippy lighting.
