Here's a poster concept from my travel sketchbook from a couple years ago.  I finally got around to painting it last night.  I put some music on, had a glass of wine, and started coloring away.  I originally drew this from memory of one of Mikala's rides from a trip we went on.  This was one of the waves that really stood out.  It was big and frothy.  I probably exaggerated the scale a bit here, but that's part of the fun of drawing surfing I guess.  I'm thinking I'll likely turn this design into a silkscreened poster run eventually.
